Kofi Agblor – A Brief Bio

Dr. Kofi Agblor is the co-founder and executive chairman of 7Continents Consulting Inc. Kofi was born and raised in Ghana, graduating from the University of Ghana with a B. Sc. (Agriculture) in Crop Science major. After completing National Service with the Community Improvement Unit and Teaching/Research Assistant in the Department of Crop Science at the University of Ghana, Kofi went to England in 1986 to pursue a Master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering at the Silsoe College of Cranfield University.

Kofi and his family arrived in Winnipeg, Canada in Dec 1988 and attended the University of Manitoba, graduating with a doctoral degree in Biosystems Engineering. Kofi and his family moved to Saskatoon in 1998, where he has worked with the Ministry of Agriculture, Saskatchewan Pulse Growers and as Managing Director of the Crop Development Centre at the University of Saskatchewan since 2012.

Kofi divides his work and family life between Saskatoon and Edmonton, where his wife, Shika, works for the federal government, daughter Anita works for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and daughter Sandra is pursuing mechanical engineering degree at the University of Alberta. Kofi is a proud grandfather of 19-month old Nate.
